First Light by BORG 107FL F3.9ED

Actually this is a 1st trial shot pointing to a particular target through 107FL F3.9ED. I noticed the entire Veil Nebula was the perfect size for 420 mm focal length with 43mm sensor.

BORG 107FL F3.9ED + Cooled 6D + IDAS HEUIBII-52 dithered imaging by SS-one KODO/EM10

The above image was no dark-frame applied. 3′ x 30 each frame were shifted one pixel by one pixel by SS-one KODO controller without PC and simply stacked. KODO allows to set up to 8-pixel a time.

As mentioned here several times, IDAS HEUIBII filter is a kind of must-have item for a modified DSLR camera. Since the background is already neutral, Ha faint sections are isolated from the background color before image processing. So nothing specially processed for the above image.

Again, touch screen procedure with KODO controller is really fun and comfortable under the dark sky.
