Haruka – BORG 125SD Binos

Since Meade LX-80 mount seems not to get available as expected, I started looking around the alternative solution for mounting Haruka. My friend had Orion alt-az mount and told me it was steady. So I borrowed and tried. Yes, the mount is surprisingly very stable.It’s very solid-made.

Now the system collimation has been done and it’s ready to go. This mount really worked out with Haruka. Pointing the zenith is no problem. The lever shown at the left of the scope is the one to slide a left scope for interpupillary adjustment.
