New CANON R System & Mount Filter Adapters

Probably as many are aware, Canon has announced a new full frame mirrorless system called “EOS R”.

Canon R’s flange back is 20mm (Nikon Z is 16mm) while bayonet size is 54mm (same as EF. Nikon Z is 55mm).

Shorter flange back gives us more options to play around various filters between a lens and a body when Canon EF and Nikon F lenses are used with. First I plan to release the mount filter adapters for SONY E, Fuji X and Canon EF-M shortly.

Surprisingly I have heard Panasonic plans to release their full frame format too. Also Fuji looks ready to announce a new X-T3 camera, which personally I’m much more interested in. I was told X-T3 would use BSI X-Trans sensor. Many new cameras seem to be coming up!!
