Fuji X-T1 Dark Frame

I realized I didn’t pay attention to check X-T1 dark frame at all. I felt positive. But I didn’t verify that. So first time to look into it myself today.

A following was its dark when I took M8/20 last time. 4 minutes at ISO 800 in heatwave hot summer condition, probably upper 70F degree that night. You can see how little it is from the histogram shape.

Since the image was too dark, I cropped to see in full resolution and extremely stretched out by the abnormal way. I’m not sure if it was realistic.  This is a cropped full resolution mode anyway.

And this was final result I posted before, after applied its dark and stacked the dithered light frames.

At my personal standpoint, I’m pleased to see this kind of dark. I have only two wishes if allowed – full frame X-trans sensor and more screen magnification. Anyway, I love X-trans sensor and the image processor. Premium quality!
