Dithered Imaging by SONY and FUJI

One of great features for KODO is to control SS-one mount motors. But it also works with any conventional EQ mount for the guiding as well. So it is a double-duty controller. See below. Both are same EM200. One is the SS-one converted while an another is as original. So guiding is done via a standard ST-4 port as usual. It means KODO works like USB 5V-operated PC.

The dithered imaging is the strong weapon to smooth the background and increase S/N. Especially I think non-cooled DSLRs are more effective. But as far as I know, Windows-based software only supports Canon and Nikon, or some others?  I might be missing something though.

Anyway, KODO controller does such a PC job for all of DSLR or mirrorless camera including SONY and Fuji.

Here is one example. This is my next new moon setup with Fuji X-T1 and astro DSLR filter.

This is the pattern for the movement by KODO. 0620aIf KODO is used with a single-axis tracking mount, each frame moves forward (toward the west) all the time. The dithered value can be set from 1 to 8 pixels. Only restriction is an autoguider must be SS-one or ZWO camera.
