Astro Image and Hutech-modified Canon Cameras

David Lozano sent a new image. He is really a challenger. I know how difficult image processing is for Witch head nebula including Rigel. Here is his result.

And I didn’t know there were various nebulae around Rigel since usually I eliminated this bright star from the frame or cropped before processing. Great shot and finish. His image encourages me to try the same.

Also Chris Levitan shared with 1st result taken with his T5iH.

EOS700T

Above 3 images typically describe Hutech-modified Canon camera’s key feature – clean star edge. For example, bright star doesn’t become ugly halo. Although I’m not sure my description is proper, I would like to say the intense light of bright star is “naturally suppressed”. It’s film-like. This is the strongest point on Hutech modification. Especially Rigel with Witch should be very tough. The camera well manages to minimize the reflections.
