Today’s Solar Activity

Now the weather is getting normal like southern California sky and allows me to resume solar imaging. _DSF1003

Solarscope 50 + BORG 50FL + Full-spectrum Olympus E-M5 + Hinode SG

Here is the result today. I realized I should have continued to image so that I could capture longer period of prominence activity. It looks huge. As mentioned earlier, I can’t see which part of the sun shows me the activity until the image processing is done. That’s why time-lapse movie is fun for me though. This is 6.5 hours sequence through one interruption.
