Canon 6D

As you were aware already, Canon announced the 1st entry model of full frame sensor – 6D. If the basic imaging performance is same as 5D Mark III or similar, it should be worth upgrading for current APS users or even for current 5D/5D Mark II users as well. In my experience, full frame and APS is big difference especially wide-field astrophotography. Price difference in-between is now around $1000 or so. It’s getting closer now. Another expected good thing is not too many pixels – less than 5D Mark II and Mark III. Theoretically, it should be favor for low light photography like astro imaging.

Definitely it’s the time for myself to change my 5D Mark II to 6D. According to Canon, it is scheduled to be available this December. I can’t wait for it!
