Angle Plate

Angle plate 35-degree is now available.

Part # 3135

1) This plate makes overall balance much better. As a result, the system becomes very stable.

2) Allows to use BORG single fork mount (#3101)  in equatorial mode and point the scope toward zenith.  It was not possible in alt-az mode when long OTA was used.

2) RA/DEC coordinates help searching the targets.

3) Since it is the fixed angle, I think it can be somehow used at between 30 to 40 degree latitude by adjusting the length of  tripod leg.  Sorry, to higher or lower latitude users.

4) Plate has 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded holes at the bottom. And 4 holes at angled section to view Polaris. A picture shows a small black tube. I just insert it for more accurate look.
