Brown Hawk Owl

It is told this bird appears when leaves gets green. So it is called “Green leaves Owl” in Japanese.

71FL + 7214(1.4x teleconverter = 560mm) + E-PL1, 1/25″ at ISO400 taken by Mr.Matsunaga in Japan

Looks difficult targets since the light is always behind them. Due to the clean fluorite, the image is still contrasty and clean without chromatic aberration.

PS. One of E-M5 users taught me how to avoid canceling during zoom-up mode even when the shutter button is pressed halfway. Thank you, Ixy! Now I tried the Sun.

IDAS 82mm UHBD5.2 solar filter + 71FL (400mm) + E-M5 handheld, 1/4000″ at ISO400

Much easier to focus than before. This is really wonderful camera.
